A Different Size Shoe for Each Foot
Several years ago I had a letter from Mr Alec Simmonds, who at the time, was residing in a New Plymouth retirement village. He had suffered for many years with a swollen left ankle, the result of a war injury. His ankle was so swollen that whenever he needed new shoes, he had to buy 2 pairs, one pair a size larger than the other, to get two shoes that fitted. Then he threw away one of each pair.
About four years ago, Mr Simmonds discovered the Aircycle and had an amazing result. The foot and leg exercises which this exerciser provided, reduced the swelling in his left ankle. Then one pair of shoes fitted both feet comfortably! An added bonus was that he could sleep at night, undisturbed by pain.
Frequently, throughout the following two years , Mr Simmonds called and requested leaflets to deliver on his mobility scooter. He delivered many hundreds of leaflets to letterboxes in New Plymouth and took great pleasure in doing so. Anybody he saw in the garden, he stopped to tell about the inflatable exerciser which had helped him so much.
